Team HistoryThe Aurora Shoeless Joe's enter their second season in the OCDFL. The first season was quite successful finishing in third place in the regular season and going undefeated in the playoffs to capture the Oshawa League title. The team is comprised of a couple of players still playing in the ISC loop, 5 former ISC veterans, 3 career Intermediate players, and a few that played their last competitive fastball game 10 years ago before they donned the spikes last season. About 80% of the team's players were with the original group of Leghorns when the team competed in the Dieppe league in Toronto in the mid 90s. |
