Midgets Champs.
The Newmarket Midgets
Stingers new to our league in 2006 capped their inaugural season with
championship rings.
The Stingers went
undefeated in winning the OASA Provincial 'B" Midget tournament. They
bested Chepstow 10-3 and then
squeaked out victory over
Toanche 10-9 before playing some old time fastball in a thrilling 3-2 win over
Chepstow.
Congratulations to the
players, coaches and sponsors for sticking with the plan. Look forward to
your participation
next year.
