Congratulations to Richard Venne, coach, of the Scarborough Wolverines
Juniors and Todd Idenouye -John Mather, coaches, of the Oshawa Double
B Sports Club Juniors and their players and staff in winning Gold and
Silver respectively, at the Ontario Junior Eliminations this past
weekend. 
The Wolverines are defending Canadian Junior Men's Fastball Champions
from 2004 when they won on their home turf.
 
The Championships were held in Breslau, Ontario as 10 teams competed
to win the right to represent Ontario in the Canadian Junior Men's
Fastball Championships in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan August 1 - 7, 2005. 
Both these teams compete in the Oshawa City and District Fastball
League and the League is very proud of these teams performances
this last weekend. Keep up the good work and we wish you the best
in Saskatoon later this summer.
 
Breslau is the third team to represent Ontario. 

Congratulations also to the Port Perry and Stouffville Jr teams for their 
efforts during the tournament.  Four of the ten teams participating are
members of our own City and District league.
