Richard Venn and his Scarborough
Wolverines Junior Men's Fastball Team are back
in as members of the Oshawa City and District
Softball Association for the 2004 season.
After yesterdays application and acceptance by
the OCDSA's members the team enters its 3rd year
in the OCDSA.The OCDSA is in its 78th year of
operation. The Junior Wolverines provide a formidable
opponent to all teams in the OCDSA as they prepare
to host the Junior Men's Canadian Fastpitch Championships
at L'Amoreaux Sports Complex August 1 to August
8, 2004. Also in the OCDSA are Junior teams from
Stouffville, represented by Jones Pools and Oshawa,
represented by the Double B Sports Club. Oshawa's
back after a years hiatus.
Good luck to our Junior teams in their quest in
the elimination tournament and those that may
be successful in the Junior Canadians.
Unfortunately the Bradford Storm Midgets will
not play in the OCDSA, thus leaving three midget
teams, the Pickering Heat, the Oshawa Double B
Sports Club and the Cobourg Legion.
Also the OCDSA All-Star game in Markham is rescheduled
to Sunday July 25, 2004.
